Our client is currently seeking an experienced Senior J2EE Developer for a 12 month contract in Salt Lake city, UT. Role: Senior J2EE Developer Overall 8 years in IT Industry and over 5 years of J2EE development skills. General Job Duties: Participate in the design, planning and development of solutions based on business requirements. Participate as part of a project team to design, code, unit test and implement moderately complex programs to support the portfolio management process. Manage small to mid-level sized programs or portions of a program. Establish testing procedures to ensure application is thoroughly tested throughout development and before release. Assist in establishing project budget and timelines; manage assigned component of project within budget and time constraints. Monitor and report to management on project status, identify issues that may impede attainment of goals, recommend and implement corrective measures. Provide technical direction and training to junior Software Development personnel. Perform other duties as required. Required Experience/Skills: Bachelors in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience. J2EE 8 yrs total development experience. 5 years Generic and/or 5 years of Java minimum. Familiar with Hibernate SQL Experience Eclipse experience Web Logic or Application Server experience. Ant Web Services experience MQ experience. GWT experience in association with AJAX.
