Location: Sheffield Sector: Education Contract Length: 6 months Rate: �300-�450 per day Role: Technical/Enterprise Architect My client based in Sheffield is completely upgrading and refreshing their infrastructure, and they require a Technical/Enterprise Architect for a 6month contract. The Role Support the transition of infrastructure to a cloud based service provider through the development and execution of acceptance criteria and test plans. Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to determine technical solutions and quality outcomes that meet performance and availability objectives. • Work with the vendor to develop high level designs and solution designs. • Provide technical governance of the infrastructure service vendor across the entire program scope. • Provide technical quality assurance through the direction and review of vendor deliverables. • Assist in the develop schedules, resources and costs estimates. • Responsible for the creation of migration strategy, implementation designs and plans. The Person Senior Infrastructure Architect Consultant with 10 years experience in ICT infrastructure. Specific experience in migration and transition projects. • Solid understanding and demonstrated experience in infrastructure environments, including Virtualization and VDI. • Exchange 2010 • Windows server 2008 • Data Center Networking • Storage technologies • Active Directory • High availability • Technical and analytical skills required to determine migration solutions. • Strong vendor management and stakeholder management skills Desirable Any education sector experience is highly desirable.
