Overview of the Solutions Marketing Team Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Solutions Marketing department is responsible for the planning, development and execution of marketing, outreach activities and support materials that drive participation in PG&E’s energy-efficiency, demand response and dynamic pricing programs, as well as adoption of long-term energy management behaviors. Overview of Role: The position is responsible for day-to-day support for the development of outreach and education materials that help approximately 320,000 SMB customers and their vendors save energy, money and the environment. Additionally, the candidate is responsible for managing project finances, and overall monitoring of the segment budget. Primary Responsibilities : Project Management Coordinate with the Principal, Program Marketing Manager, and internal/external agency partners to create, manage and communicate project timelines, ensuring projects are completed and delivered on-time. Deliverables may include: o Advertising and direct-to-customer marketing pieces o Sales & Services presentations and turn-key communications o Program collateral o Co-branded assets Coordinate the review and approval of campaign materials, collateral, case studies, and other marketing deliverables. Significant coordination is needed among several stakeholders across the Organization to route and reconcile feedback and gain approval on deliverables. Ensure all finished materials meet the project objectives, and are produced without errors, consistent with established brand guidelines, communicated to internal parties and inventoried appropriately. Event Support Assist in execution of events, such as trade/industry-sponsored events, conferences, employee training, and internal/external meetings, including attendance if needed. Manage the materials requested for the TP Events. Coordinate updates to internal and customer-facing web properties Work with pge.com web leads to implement planned and ad hoc changes to web site. Manage the Trade Pro Directory updates and troubleshooting. Work with Marketing Operations to ensure external collateral inventory web site is up-to-date and that inventory is re-ordered as needed. Budget and Project finances Role is responsible for working with PG&E’s Business Finance and external parties to set up, monitor and report on the status of project finances including Shopping Carts, POs, accruals. Update budget spreadsheets with current burn rate, progress against budget, and anticipated costs. Ensure invoices/payments are processed in a timely manner. Ensure Program Marketing Managers have visibility into potential cost overages/underages. Role will work with external vendors to ensure cost come in budget, create mitigation plan to avoid overages, and recommend mitigation plan if overages are anticipated. Reporting Manage project status report and attend regular team meetings to align resources on week’s activities, priorities and resolve outstanding issues. Issue recaps and next steps from these meetings o Assist Program Marketing Manager in obtaining needed information for internal weekly Headline News submissions, which cover highlights of past week’s outreach activities, key events, new materials. o Assist with ad hoc reporting as required by internal management or CPUC requests. Support special projects as assigned by management Qualifications: Minimum of college degree obtained 1-3 years’ project management experience in either a B2B or B2C company overseeing the development and delivery of marketing materials or working for an ad agency Experience working in environmental or energy related field a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledgeable about Adobe productivity software Attributes Ability to work in a fast-paced, team driven environment Committed to customer satisfaction Proven ability to foster trust and collaborative partnerships with colleagues and internal stakeholders Able to represent PG&E professionally in public forums Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Responsibilities: The position is responsible for day-to-day support for the development of outreach and education materials that help approximately 320,000 SMB customers and their vendors save energy, money and the environment.
