Forms Developer
SUMMARY This position is primarily responsible for the development, production, design, maintenance and data mapping of static and dynamic forms. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS Job responsibilities require that the Forms Developer meet the critical job demands, including but not limited to, the following key areas: * Development and maintenance of static forms for a variety of mediums * Data mapping * Create graphics (i.e. logos) * Maintain design and layout standards * Documentation and Version Control * Daily maintenance of case documents, corporate statements, etc. * Sound understanding of basic graphic design principles programming logic * Understanding of file formats (EPS, TIF, PNG, PDF) * Understanding of Resolution (300dpi minimal/max for print) and Color Compression (RGB vs CMYK vs BITMAP vs Index) * Solid Project Management concepts (Time management, Documentation, Prioritizing) * Strong understanding of Typography (font type, size, kerning, leading) * 1+ year experience in static and dynamic document development and/or design strongly preferred * Aptitude for learning new software and programs; experience using data mapping software (e.g. Opus, GMC, etc.) is a plus * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent analytical and organizational skills * Ability to multi-task and work separate projects in a fast paced & dynamic company environment and extremely tight timelines * Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction or as part of a team EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Bachelor*s Degree in Technology-related field or equivalent work experience * Ability to understand software development framework, architecture concepts, and terminology * Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Adobe CS4 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), Microsoft Office software (Word (Advanced), Excel, Outlook) WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is fast-paced and performed in an office environment with extensive contact with clients and employees.
