Business Intelligence Programme Manager
My client is to transition their Business Intelligence (BI) capability to a new Systems Integrator (SI) and the transition activity needs a dedicated Programme Manager. A summary of the responsibilities (and therefore experience required) is as follows: - Facilitate and project manage the transition from one System Integrator to another. - Be responsible for delivering the project targets whilst ensuring all parties are aligned to the vision - Proactive Risk / Issue / Dependency management - Ability to understand the specifics of data warehousing, software development lifecycle - Change management activities as people, processes are being changed / created. - Drive the efficient and effective delivery of each theme of the project within a dynamic, fast paced environment. - Provide effective leadership for the assigned project. - Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders across all parties (Client, Old SI and New SI) at the right time. - Work closely with Client's Information Management team to review the status of BAU / new requirements / existing projects and any dependencies - Effectively deploy leadership qualities and management skills to ensure that the projects stay on track - Effectively draw upon the various skills and talents of different people both within and outside the project to achieve deliverables - Communicate a clear vision of the direction of the project, providing constructive and positive support when things go wrong ensuring that lessons can be learned and improvements made Must haves: - Extensive PM experience around Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Warehouse initiatives. - Has proven project management and leadership skills and a good knowledge of business analysis. Knows organisations' policy framework, management structure and reporting procedures for all aspects of programme environment. - Broadly skilled in information and communications technology and has a comprehensive knowledge of relevant development life-cycles - Expert in Programme Management Principles, methods, techniques and tools.
