Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Limited is currently recruiting for the following permanent position: TRANSPORT OPERATOR – MATERNITY COVER Location: Fradley Park, Lichfield Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Shift pattern: 11.30 am to 20.00 pm Monday to Friday Reporting to the Transport Manager in Fradley Park, Lichfield the successful Transport Operator will have a role within the Transport team responsible for driver debriefing, responding to customer queries and general administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include: Point of customer contact for external transport carriers Responsibility for debriefing all drivers during the shift Extracting, filing and archiving all proof of deliveries Fulfilling all KPI requirements Completing daily reports Any other transport administration The ideal Transport Operator will be educated to a standard level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English (oral and written) and be able to demonstrate good computing skills including email and spreadsheets. The ideal Transport Operator must work well under pressure in a busy environment. Candidates should also have accurate administrative skills including good verbal and written communication.Previous experience of compiling spreadsheets, reports and emails is required.The ability to work on your own initiative and a flexible approach to team working is also essential.You will be required to communicate externally and internally to customers and drivers. The salary is within the salary range for administrative roles, dependent upon previous skills and experience.
