Our client, located in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a Production Control Analyst to be responsible for supporting department team members in coordinating and executing the processing of all Production Control jobs, programs, and peripheral equipment. The Analyst monitors job processing schedules and appropriately responds to exceptions and/or issues affecting their successful execution in order to ensure quality customer satisfaction. Essential Functions: * Follows guidance from department team members in the proper set-up, processing, and documentation of batch and ad hoc Production Control jobs according to departmental processes, procedures, and methodologies * Operates production related equipment and reviews production run outputs to ensure quality data results according to guidance and best practices from department team members * Monitors batch processes and job scheduling tool for errors from scheduled or ad hoc jobs * Reports errors to Senior team members for analysis and resolution * Supports the maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly job schedules * Solicits feedback and guidance of best practices from Senior department team members * Continually enhances departmental knowledge in order to achieve departmental success and professional growth Qualifications: * Possesses the ability to understand scheduling instructions and job interdependencies * Has the aptitude to perform quality assurance testing on changes being promoted to production environments * Capable of working independently and delivering appropriate feedback to Senior team members and management as required * Demonstrates familiarity with financial systems applications currently utilized by the client(e.g., SAP) * Exhibits familiarity with Windows applications used for Production Control * Displays awareness of current job scheduling software
