The Senior SAP Consultant will be an integral member of the Business Intelligence & Applications team at our client and will be responsible for coordinating ERP activities and projects at corporate level. This person will report directly to the Business Intelligence & Applications Director Responsibilities In this role, the primary areas of responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configure system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designdetails of automated systems. Provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Workin conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. Coordinatesall aspects of a product or service offering project for a client, from inception to installation. Overseeschedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment. Developrequirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language. Collaboratewith developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical visionand analyze trade offs between usability and performance needs. Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. Communicateand collaborate with external and internal customers Identify and implement industry best practices. Qualifications/Skills Required and Preferred 7+years Finance domain / business knowledge and experience. 5+years experience with International/Multinational company environment andrelated finance domains. 7+years experience with SAP and selected SAP Modules Required– Experience with SAP 4.6c – Basis, ABAP, FI, CO, EC-CS, SD, SC Modules. Also desired - SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP NetWeaver experience. Familiarity with SAP add-in tools such as Vertex (sales tax) Familiaritywith other ERP systems (NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) 5+years familiarity with Cognos and related reporting, BI/analysis tools. 5+years experience with designing and drawing use case diagrams, business model diagrams, flowcharts etc. 5+years experience with project management and project management tools. 5+years experience in preparation of business requirements documentation. 5+years experience with testing methodologies and bug reporting tools. Knowledgeof full life cycle of software development. Abilityto successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously Abilityto work independently with users to define concepts and cooperatively work with third party project managers Abilityto effectively work with third party vendors Strongan alytical and product management skills required Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interactprofessionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matterexperts. Demonstrated ability to serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal andexternal customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
