Imaging Developer - Captiva
Position Summary: Supports and develops Captiva 6.5 application and integration with existing workflow systems. Develops web services to ingest images and data into Captiva from external sources. Assist with managing and administrating Captiva processes. Must be able to function as a member of a team and adhere to a secure development process and configuration management process. Must be able to work cooperatively and autonomously and willing to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change. Technical experience and knowledge: Captiva 6.5 development and configuration experience is mandatory VB and .net applications Web services SQL 2000-2008 Other Captiva components such as Dispatcher and Classification Required Skills: Ability to analyze, design, program and implement imaging solutions Present application design to development groups and tech leads for review and input Build and maintain development and integration environments for any development testing and collaboration needs Knowledge of operating systems and web based application development desired Ability to adapt to software development lifecycle (SDLC) Ability to write or update code documentation (technical approaches, system specifications/designs, product manuals, integration test, etc.) Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of project support Ability to work with UAT and QA to define test plans and test cases Job Requirements: Minimum Education Required: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Minimum Experience Required: 5+ years of application development experience with exposure to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
