Hi all, this is our problem. I have a relatively complex page (part of a sport magazine), done with XPress (now v. 3, starting next month v.6, ahem... ;) ). That page (as others, similar, in the magazine) need to be "automized": we wuold change (automatically, with a software) large parts of the text present in the page (sport results and statistics mainly). So we have tought to use XPress Tags: we save the text as xpress tags, next we modify it (the content) with the software, finally we reload the xpress tags file (updated by the software) in the same page. Our problem is that with v. 3 of XPress all goes without a hitch, while with v. 6.1 or 6.5 we are unable even to simply save and reload the same (exact) xpress tags file in the same page: when we reload the file just saved thare are a number of little differences, so all the layout of the page results ugly... We have made some tests also with v. 8 of Xpress, with same problems: apparently the software has some problem correctly reloading the same text, just saved as xpress tags! So we search for an expert of Xpress able to give us the idea (or the trick) to overcome this (for us) hard problem with (mirror) functions of saving and loading file of xpress tags.
