Designs, analyzes, develops, codes, tests, debugs and documents programming to satisfy business requirements. Proficient in application development skills for more than one technology as well as proficient in multiple design techniques. This position should typically be used for an advanced or lead level resource. Application Developer Qualifications: * 5+ years development and engineering experience in a diverse multi-platform environment * Good communication skills, both oral and written * Technical training experience to educate users on tools and processes Technology skills should include: * Systems Analysis * Quality Assurance and Testing * Java * JAX-RPC * XML, DHTML * RESTful Web Services * Groovy * JScript, CScript, VBScript * VB.net, C#.net, MS Dot Net Framework, ASP.net * JDBC, ODBC * TCP/IP fundamentals * DNS, DHCP * NetBeans or Eclipse * MS Visual Studio 2005 * Operation and support knowledge of legacy platforms (Mainframe, I-series, or Tandem) * Oracle or relational database concepts * MS/SQL, PL/SQL * UNIX Shell and Sun Solaris * Web server experience with Apache, Tomcat and IIS is a requirement
