Experis is recruiting for their client in Cincinnati, Ohio for a Senior Project Manager to lead mobile app development projects. This senior project manager position is responsible for managing all aspects of project management from original concept through final implementation. This individual must have demonstrated ability to lead and manage across technology disciplines in a matrix organization globally. Candidate must have prior success driving technical projects / programs, project tracking, issue resolution, risk mitigation, seeking approvals, and influencing teams. The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. This role will have accountability for projects / programs including scope, schedule, audit and financials. Requirements: 8 years direct work experience in a project /program management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. Prior experience with technologies such as mobile and tablet platforms. Proven track record in successfully delivering large projects, preferably in large global organizations. Background in any of software development, architecture, testing or business analysis is strongly preferred Experience with complex SDLC methodologies (i.e. Agile) as well as structured systems analysis and design methodologies. Ability to manage project financials. A successful track record managing Banking Industry technology projects is a plus Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Planview, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Ability to provide leadership and demonstrate ability to lead multiple project teams in a high volume, high pressure environment. PMP Certified is a plus Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products Experience at working both independently and in a collaborative team environment Ability to manage work across cross-functional and remote teams, both internal and external. Ability to define business request, problems and identify strategies and tactics to provide solutions Self-motivated and demonstrates ability to be goal focused and results driven, including driving project related risks, issues and concerns to closure. B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree. Strong written and oral communication skills.
