Automation is to be written in PowerShell (mostly simple file or XSD validations) and 3D Studio Max Script (the scripting language for manipulating and testing objects in 3D space). OVERVIEW: Designs and develops test plans Performs repeatable testing procedures and processes Implements automation in PowerShell and 3D Studio Max Script Works with product teams to identify problem areas where additional automation is required to scrub files for common errors prior to check ins and/or builds Builds reports from an backend service supporting a Python API exporting both XML and HTML REQUIREMENTS: 1-3 years' software testing experience Game studio experience desired and recommended Ability to develop programs in at least one language (Python and/or C#) PowerShell experience or batch script file experience strongly preferred Must have solid knowledge of software quality assurance practices, with strong testing aptitude Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required and some business / functional knowledge preferred This contract position is expected to be 1 year in duration.
