This role is for 10pm to 8am Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday. Support 24x7 Data Center Operations in OR and RTP including, Physical Server Mounting and removal of Systems, VMWARE, Administration, Provisioning and troubleshooting of environments and many other technical and administrative functions required to maintain the critical business operations. Skills: WINDOWS = 5 UNIX = 2 BACKUP SYSTEMS = 4 SYSTEMS MONITORING = 4 MS OFFICE = 4 DOCUMENTATION = 4 SCHEDULING = 3 NETWORKING = 3 WEBSPHERE = OPT VMWARE = 2 STORAGE / NAS = 2" Systems Skills: -Follow detailed release scripts in UNIX, Informatica, Windows, Websphere, DB2 and other environments to support code refreshes in the tiers of the client. -Operations Support -Perform hardware repairs per documentation -Maintain AUTOSYS Batch flows by assisting in force starting, placing items on ICE, and restarting AUTOSYS processes to insure that batch operations continues without any delay when situations arise. -Support Backup Operations by restarting or running jobs within the TSM Backup, Legatto, VRanger and SQL log shipping following detail step by step documentation as requested. -Support Storage Operations performing light tasks as defined following detailed procedures. -Perform UNIX operations support performing tasks as defined and with detailed step by step procedures. Documentation and Service Management Processes -Continuously document any and all procedures as encountered during incident mitigation continuously improving and expanding the knowledge base of the Run Book. -Follow ITL Service management standards by submitting proper incident, Problem, service requests and change requests through the central MAXIMO system. -Complete weekly status reports including metrics of performance. -Work on existing service requests to assist 24x7 operations in maintaining a high up time standard for all environments. Experience: 5+ years of hands on technical support of multiple hardware and OS environments. Physical server and systems provisioning. Inventory management. Moves/adds/changes of technology systems.
