Kforce is seeking a Business Analyst with SAP experience for a client in Carrollton, Texas. Functions of the Analyst: * Provide management oversight of Service Changes - new service introduction, existing service changes, or service retirements * Define / validate functional requirements for service enhancements * Document Service Objectives and User Stories * Validate requirements with cross-functional Technical Service Center and Business Teams * Support release planning, release build, release deployment, and early-life support * Act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert to the Technical Service Center Teams that design and deliver the Service Changes Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions: * Service Strategy - Service Portfolio Management 10% * Contribute to the Global Prioritization of Service Changes * Perform Portfolio Governance * Work with Portfolio Analysis processes * Partner with Business Relationship Manager(s) to proactively manage Business Partner relationships, expectations, and engagements * Service Design - Provide Opportunity Management 35% * Create Service Design Requests (SDRs) * Lead Feasibility Sizing and Initial Sizing efforts * Evaluate solution alternatives * Develop Service Change business cases * Manage the engagement of Supporting Service Owners and SMEs * Service Transition - includes the management oversight and contribution to the design and delivery of service changes 50% * Service Design Package creation * Oversight of delivery and management of Service Change financials * Participate in Weekly Release Management Meetings, Scrum of Scrums, etc. * Be engaged with Business Partner(s) throughout the life cycle * Service Operation - Monitor Service Level Commitments and Address Issues 5% * Contribute to Incident and Problem Management activities as appropriate The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * 6+ years of specific systems experience including 5+ years of managerial experience * 10+ years of professional experience in a business or technical position including 5+ years of managerial experience and 6+ years in a similar service role(s): Consulting Service Manager, Product Manager, IT Program or Project Manager, Functional Architect or Business Analyst * Demonstrated experience managing business partner and supplier interactions and relationships * Demonstrated experience kicking off and managing large, complex initiatives * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex business and technical environment * Demonstrated change leadership skills (ability to effectively manage communication, negotiate successful outcomes, identify risks, engage correct stakeholders, etc.) * Solid understanding of the Procure to Pay business processes and how they are enabled by SAP and other systems * Vendor direct procurement process, Intra-company Transfer Process (STOs), Inventory Valuation, Logistic Invoice Verification (LIV) processing of vendor invoices, Advance Ship Notifications (ASN), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Master Data * Solid understanding of the Order to Cash business processes and how they are enabled by SAP and other systems * Order entry and processing, order fulfillment and distribution, billing and chargebacks, returns, and analytics * Knowledge of specific SAP Systems: ECC, SCM, Vistex and CRM * Ability to research the SAP System to determine how a process is currently working and how it needs to be changed * Technical skills for understanding the design, development, configuration, implementation, and support of business solutions * Experience in business case development and project management * Process knowledge and background in process improvement
