A Kforce client in Plantation, Florida, located in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area is looking for a Technical Business Analyst (BA). The role of the Business Analyst is to fill the gap between desired business direction and development of IT software solutions. The areas of responsibility for this position span a variety of business and technical functions. Foremost, the role of the BA is to gather and interpret functional requirements as stated by our client's .com business community. Our client requires that this BA work side by side with their Software Engineers, 'outsourced' Software Developers and external software manufacturers to ensure user requirements are satisfied. This BA is expected to develop a deep knowledge of our client's .com application base from a user perspective and understand the concepts that drive the creation and customizations of business applications. Additionally, this BA is responsible for Project Managing and setting expectations related to IT deliverables for the business community. The applying candidate needs to have the following skills: Ability to gather and consolidate business requirements and suggest recommendations and solutions for complex problems Ability to take ownership of the task assigned This BA must be able to work in a close team environment; on site to share and contribute ideas and take direction well from the Senior-level staff Coordinate discussions and ideas between Business Leaders, IT Managers, and Application Developers to produce documented business requirements The successful Business Analyst applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Strong written and oral communication skills Solid organizational abilities Ability to match business deadlines with IT's ability to deliver solutions SQL script writing experience Ability to query tables and interpret data patterns Experience with design and Software Quality Assurance testing
