Company Overview: Our client is an inventive research and development company that manufactures portable, hand-held consumer electronic handheld wireless devices. Job Responsibilities: - Perform various types of mechanical and environmental testing on hand held consumer electronics device or IC's. - Perform mechanical testing such as: drop, vibration, tumble, repetitive drop, button cycling, pressure/squeeze, ball impact, etc. - Perform environmental testing such as: thermal and humidity cycling, UV, salt mist, etc. - Fill in reports and summary of completed tests. Job Qualifications: - A Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree is preferred. - Three plus years experience in reliability testing is required. - Must be familiar with consumer electronics. - Experience with mechanical and environmental testing such as, thermal cycling, drop, tumble, vibration, shock, abrasion, etc. - Incumbent should be someone with good communication skills and who is self-reliant.
