The marketing director will work alongside business development and integrate with the Issuers' business and team to influence product and marketing strategy including campaigns. The objective is to develop and execute innovative marketing approaches that deliver business plans hitting and exceeding the contractual targets for which they and their business development colleagues are accountable. The marketing director will provide leadership and expertise on segmentation, positioning, pricing, benefits configuration, servicing, packaging and communication. They will be responsible for working with our partners on all aspects of the product and customer life cycle, across all consumer and product segments and channels including Online and digital channels. They will also work to grow the profitability of the card portfolios by pro-actively seeking ways to re-engineer costs and grow revenues for our partners. Market Planning Ensuring all Partners with whom they work have long, medium and short range marketing strategies and plans Working alongside the business development leaders facilitate the development and prioritisation of marketing initiatives as well as ensuring effective resource allocation and management both financial through Advertising and Promotion budgets and people. People Development Help build, develop, and coach a team of exceptional Marketing experts. Leveraging the expertise of the central global marketing team to produce outstanding end-to-end marketing campaigns and initiatives across product development, acquisition and loyalty that will deliver the Partner key metric targets in the annual and long range plans Marketing Execution Developing product line strategies for all market segments to achieve the penetration of targeted high spending customer segments in order to achieve 25-30% billed business market share goals. Focusing primarily on the consumer market the incumbent will size and prioritise product and new product development opportunities across consumer and small business and work with Partners to enhance and expand existing and launch new products from financial business cases to successful implementation. Working with the/ partner's marketing team, the director will develop a multiple channel strategy (internal and external) with all partners, that most effectively targets customers and drives the execution of the acquisition plans to meet and exceed contractual targets. Implement and track test and learn methodologies to more effectively achieve acquisition and portfolio profitability metrics. The director will ensure the development of robust life cycle and portfolio management strategies to drive customer engagement, spend, rewards and revolve, satisfaction and loyalty that maximise both GNS and partner revenues, improving customer average spend out standings, activation and retention metrics. Marketing Sign-offs Ensuring partners total compliance with Brand and product guidelines. Ensuring appropriate training of marketing staff on approval processes to ensure compliance.
