Job Description technical Project Manager Raleigh, NC The Engineering Coordinator (EC) is responsible for delivery of services within a Statement of Work or Contractual Commitment. The EC is responsible for ensuring the client solution is supportable within the Verizon framework of services and service level agreements. This includes involvement within service strategy and service design which enables the EC to create the client project plan and also the service transition phase of the project. The EC is responsible for reviewing SOW's, developing a project plan, matrix managing internal Vz supplier organizations, Third Party Vendors, client partners and customer deliverables to achieve critical success factors. The EC is required to develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure there is minimal impact to the delivery of service specified in the contract. The EC is responsible to develop and manage all Change Control requests to help limit scope deviation. The EC is also responsible for making recommendations on at risk milestones to ensure optimal focus for service delivery. EC's are required to ensure delivered services are transitioned to Day 2 operations. The EC is responsible and accountable for developing all client communication relative to the project installation, project milestones, risk mitigation strategies and overall governance. The EC is also accountable for thoroughly understanding how the configuration items are to be integrated to achieve client business outcome and solution. This includes, but is not limited to, network, applications, data center services, security, Unified Communication, cloud services, IT services- Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft technologies The EC is responsible for ensuring that services are delivered on time, within the contracted budget and is accepted by the customer. Experience working with Carriers- ATT, Verizon, etc- interfacing with these companies on cut overs and large roll outs* Bachelor's Degree Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification ITIL v3 Certification Advanced MS Office skills, must be proficient in MS Project and MS Power Point Knowledge of Avaya, non managed SBC, and/or MS Lync applications and design concepts Minimum 3+ years of customer facing Project/Program Management experience Familiarity with CPE, Managed Services and network elements Must be flexible with hours to support customer implementations Strong presentation skills at executive levels Some travel may be required Ability to manage technical resources Must be able to work in a team environment and collaborate with peers on complex issues Industry: Cisco
