Migration Architect - Data Center Migration/Relocation/Consolidation ** Migration Specialist - candidate should be able to review existing Data Center configuration, platforms (zSeries, Midrange, Wintel, Storage, Network, etc) and advise client on possible migration approaches, pitfalls with proposed plan, etc. Candidate should have recent, real-world experience in large, complex data center migrations. 1 * Strong project management and technical leadership skills, with specific focus on data center migrations, consolidations, net-new, etc 2 * Manage projects that involved server consolidation, software migrations, or infrastructure consolidation/moves. 3 * Must be able to perform as high-level Technical Architect to oversee working technical teams 4 * Ability to manage a project plan, track milestones and identify dependencies 5 * Good oral and written communications skills and the ability to interact efficiently with a large Project Management Office and Technical Team 6 * Project Management Certification (a plus but not mandatory) 7 * Previous experience as Lead Architect or Technology Silo (Platform) Lead in Data Center relocation/consolidation/divestiture required 8 * Previous experience with Application Dependency Discovery required Position requires that you have your own laptop and Microsoft Office software suite including Project.
