Our <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /> Calgary , AB Oil & Gas based client is looking for a ?Livelink Application support Analyst?, for a 6 month extendable contract in Calgary , Alberta . <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Application support Analysts are responsible for managing the support of the daily operation, trouble shooting and maintenance of the complex environment of Livelink, Documentum, McLaren Software, office 2010 and numerous supporting modules and software packages Accountable to the organization for the information management applications including: Livelink; Documentum; Maclaren and Office 2010. o Vendor Management o Problem Management o Capacity Planning o New Projects / Enhancements Facilitate the development of all new project enhancements: o Work with BRMs to understand demand functional and non-functional requirements; o Investigate, evaluate and understand capabilities of current IM applications to assess if current applications can be leveraged; o Work with Solution Designers for the high level design and approval of information management solutions, and ensure the information management solutions align with strategic and tactical business goals Collaborate with IM group operating within the Operations Support group to: o Align the application portfolio to the strategic direction of IM ; o Assist in initiating and dynamically evolving the IM and Reporting team for: policies, standards and practices; as well as any additional services that the team provides o Serve as Subject Matter Expert to provide guidance on product roadmaps to incorporate into vision and longer term roadmap Key Accountabilities - Have a strong understanding of the ECM Architecture. - Have a strong understanding of the Livelink security, access, permission, user/user group models and related supporting processes in order to maintain content security, privacy and integrity as part of the daily ECM operation. - Have a strong understanding of interfaces between Livelink Content Server/Livelink Archive Server and their supporting business processes. - Have a strong understanding of ECM workflows and how they integrate and contribute to business process - Ensure application configuration (CWP) documentation is prepared and maintained - Ensure any changes include the development / maintenance of design documentation upon which technical resources can undertake to conduct maintenance and troubleshooting - Assess service level metrics and measures to ensure they are in line with the terms of the contractual agreements with the applicable outsourced service provider - Provide follow-up on behalf of internal customers where necessary. - Ensure MOC and Release Management processes are adhered to in all cases where changes will be applied to the Livelink environment - Investigate, document and recommend changes to the Livelink environment which will maintain and enhance functionality or reliability - Provide guidance to IKM in the proper use and potential use of the ECM product functionality. - Strong understanding of application life cycle management What Modis can Offer?
