Development of electronic billing to payers using 837 transactions, maintenance and development of billing templates in Focus billing system and bridge routines/paper commands in ePremis, and field requests from billing teams for changes to billing formats The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. The EDI Analyst will complete: Billing System changes including 837 transactions and paper formatting issues ePremis routine changes including updates to the system and creation and modification of claim bridging routines Further duties: Use of change request tracking program for all requests from billing teams Work with claim scrubber software vendor for claim formatting issues Work with billing teams to ensure correct billing format to payers Contact with payers to resolve billing issues Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to: Skills: Must be experienced with Windows systems Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Access Understanding of basic programming a plus Understanding of HIPAA 837 transaction required ePremis experience a plus At least one year Medical Billing experience Dialysis billing experience a plus Apply Now
