I am looking for a caring, attentive individual to come to my house and play with my one year old daughter for two days a week, while I am at work. The hours are 9am-3pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until the end of August, when she will begin nursery. If this arrangement is successful and you are happy with it, we may consider keeping it in place instead of sending her to nursery, and would increase the hours to include Thursdays, from October onwards. Experience as a nanny is not necessary, but you must genuinely be interested in children and find interacting with them enjoyable and rewarding. I'm looking for a surrogate grandmother or sister to provide nurturing and stimulating care for my daughter. It may suit a grandma, a mother with grown-up children or a University student, with younger siblings, looking for summer work. A University student studying early years education, with knowledge of Froebel and Montessori would be great. My husband will be working from home at the same time, so will be on hand to deal with any major problems.
