Yoh has a contract opportunity for an Oracle Systems Engineer to join our client in Morristown, NJ. Job Responsibilities: - Managing and maintaining the infrastructure and middleware layers of existing Oracle Business Process Management environments in support of on-going and future operations and projects. - This will include executing and managing product version upgrades and general infrastructure lifecycle management, as well as system capacity management. - Designing, planning and organizing the implementation of new BPM systems, or versions as needed and according to schedule and budget. - Conducting platform audits and remediation. - Participating in project architectural and code design reviews. - Leading quality management activities including writing of IQ/OQ's, SOP's, operational guidelines, high level risk assessments, system specifications, traceability matrices etc. - Writing technical documentation including, but not limited to user guides, configuration artifacts, infrastructure / technical diagrams, installation qualifications and validation documentation. - SLA monitoring (system availability, incident and problem management) Achieving customer satisfaction for infrastructure performance, security, availability and quality of service. - Providing technical expertise for the planning and definition of new system requirements; perform feasibility and performance benchmark studies, including benchmark, capacity planning, sizing, etc. - Ensuring IT strategy and standards (infrastructure, applications and integration) are followed. - Providing technical direction to internal and external constituents / business IT as an Oracle BPM subject matter expert. - Providing expert guidance around the use of Oracle BPM for workflow / application hosting. - Advise management of options, risks, costs and benefits of various BPM-related technology solutions. - Installation of software tools and custom-developed applications following IQ / OQ documents Oversight of change management activities for the environment. - Providing architectural guidance to application development teams. Job Qualifications: - Three to five years of experience with Oracle BPM (versions 10g or higher). - All aspects of BPM administration including design / administration / implementation, performance tuning and security. - Sun Solaris 8.x (or higher) and Windows Server 2000 (or higher) will be assumed. - Weblogic 10.x + and J2EE (web applications, enterprise beans, JMS queues, JMX). - Oracle Database 10.x. - Intermediate working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, QIP load balancers and firewalls. - Various scripting techniques (i.e. batch, shell scripts etc.). - Profiling, load-testing, monitoring, virtualization knowledge is a plus. - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
