Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Technical Writer to join a fast growing Financial client of ours located in San Diego, CA. Job Responsibilities: - Analyze, create, edit and maintain technical articles that enable frontline employees to accurately answer customer questions about the financial industry and internal processes - Collaborate with required parties to collect, analyze, and interpret content to build knowledgebase. - Follow documented knowledgebase guidelines and procedures to create and maintain high quality knowledge base articles (30% of core content completed). - Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of articles produced. - Support the process and propose improvements required to keep all content up to date. - Actively monitor editor workflows for review, editing, processing, and expiration warnings and ensure appropriate action is taken to meet SLAs. Job Qualifications: - Experience as a technical writer researching, analyzing, writing and reviewing technical content. - Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills, including proper grammar, and exceptional relationship building skills. - Understanding of knowledge base concepts and article structure including information mapping - Need the ability to manage multiple high-priority, high profile assignments simultaneously, and the ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic environment. - Able to learn complex financial information and terminology at a fast pace. - Knowledgebase in the financial industry is a strong plus. Software/Systems Skills Required/Preferred: - Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Office and web based applications.
