Position Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join the team responsible for the creation of our next AAA children’s online virtual world. The UX Designer will be responsible for defining, testing, and overseeing the creation of engaging, user-friendly interfaces and subsequent documentation. This includes working closely with producers, project managers, game designers, artists, and developers to create user flows, wireframes, mockups, rapid prototypes, and interaction specifications, as well as conduct real world testing with actual users to guide the user experience development process. Additional responsibilities include preparing design solutions, developing functional experiences with a focus on engaging users, and developing and improving upon existing UX/UI game systems. Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 3 years of experience designing for online games (especially virtual worlds and MMOs), mobile (iOS and Android), and products built on top of social platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Minimum 3 years of experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, Flash, Adobe CS, Keynote, Axure, OmniGraffle, Pen (or Pencil) and Paper.
