Position Title: IT Business Analyst Location: Plano, TX Duration: 9 Months with possible Contract to Hire Interview: Phone 1st / Onsite 2nd Description/Required Skills: 3 to 5 years experience in analysis with expertise in different technologies, business areas, application wide analysis, and proposal of solutions. Assemble, analyze, and represent business requirements. Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, recommend alternative solutions and project strategies, and engage in negotiations. Responsible for high level implementation plans, data and process models, cost estimating, cost benefits analysis, and return on investments. These resources are also able to facilitate workshops such as JAD, RAD, and DRP sessions, etc. Business Analysts should also be able to perform as team leaders when necessary. 3 - 5 years experience: Strong SQL experience -ability to run queries and understand tables/reports. Technical background. Solid experience with data/requirement gathering. Ability to review/analyze details. Strong MS Office experience - (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); must be strong in Excel. Effective communication skills - written and verbal. Ability to interpret technical and business requirements. Ability to work with various technical and lines of business teams. Client/mortgage experience.........Preferred. Employment stability – greater than 1 year Basic SQL skills – the candidate does not have to be an expert but must have proven basic SQL experience with the ability to perform basic functions in this role – i.e. formatting SQL statements, joining tables for expected results, how to find duplicate records, etc..
