Adecco Group, a world leader in the recruitment of Manufacturing Professionals, has an immediate opening for a Line Maintenance Mechanic Lead on a 12 month opportunity with a leading company in Memphis, TN. .*CANDIDATES FOR THIS POSITION MUST HAVE PREVOIUS HIGH-SPEED MANUFACTURING AND TROUBLESHOOTING EXPERIENCE OR LINE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC EXPERIENCE LISTED ON THE RESUME..* Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and maintain high speed packaging equipment (this includes some perventative maintence tasks ) all to be perfomed in a timely fashion. Direct line staff to ensure efficient operations Perform settings/parameters changes on equipment and document as needed to achieve target efficiencies Completion of shift handoff checklist to ensure thorough handoff of settings information Support site OE initiatives Continuous improvement ideas and implementation Ensure area escalation process is followed Accountability: Communicate findings related to line performance verbally and in writing, to support and diagnose root cause findings. Assist department leadership resolutions to resolving technical issues. Ensure adherence to applicable policies and procedures Must be able to work both independently and as a team member Handle multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously, and work with minimal Specialized Knowledge: High-speed packaging environment Basic Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in high speed packaging Ability to analyze and correct deficiencies in the operation of high speed packaging equipment Strong problem solving and reasoning skills. Demonstrated ability to respond with troubleshooting methods under time and delivery pressure. Demonstrated ability to maintain control in stressful situations, and perform well under pressure. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Experience in a GMP compliant manufacturing facility Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds for short distances Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, this includes diagrams and/or drawings, part numbers Preferred Requirements: Experience in High-speed packaging environment, and troubleshooting skills."
