Senior Network Engineer Job # 1305757 Duration : 1 year Location :Mountainview ,CA Essential Duties & Responsibilities -Strong interpersonal, communication, technical, analytical, and documentation skills are essential. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team. Possess strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to learn new technologies quickly. -Experience with enterprise grade networking hardware. -Expertise in the implementation, administration, configuration and application of industry standard security tools such as: IPS/IDS, firewalls, packet capture and analysis, vulnerability scanners, and centralized log management. -Mastery of layer 2 and layer 3 networking fundamentals -US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance Additional Responsibilities -Expertise in networking protocols such as 802.1Q and IPv6 is highly desired -CISSP, GIAC, or other information security certification -Familiarity with SOC operations a plus -Must be able to manage customer accounts and confidently communicate technical information to SecureWorks client base -Maintain keen understanding of evolving Internet threats to ensure the security of SecureWorks Client networks -Learn prerelease products in the area(s) of support responsibility in order to support them when released -Write technical articles for internal knowledge base -Participate in knowledge sharing with other analysts and develop customer solutions efficiently -Coordinate or participate in individual or tem projects to ensure quality support for our clients -Perform other essential duties as assigned Certifications Desired -CISSP, SSCP, CCIE, CCSP, CISM, CCNA, CCSP, CSPFA Certifications a plus -GIAC, GCIA, GCIH, GCFW, GHTO, GSEC or similar certification desirable Overtime : straight time
