On behalf of one of our enterprise clients, TEKsystems is looking for a senior Project Manager. The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring the technology solutions for WAN backhaul services are delivered in a manner that meets the architectural, design, implementation, and production turnover requirements. WAN technologies being deployed include cellular, satellite, wimax, mpls, microwave, and transport solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Project management services for telecommunication project deployments that include work-breakdown definition; activity sequencing, resource and financial planning, project execution and monitoring, and production turnover activities -Manage scope, budget, risk, stakeholder engagement, communications and contract creation, RFP development, lab build execution and other associated telecom management activities as required -Identifying and defining interface points with other project teams and contractors within program -Overview of resources capabilities of interfacing groups -Assisting in developing and updating both internal and external progress reporting procedures that highlight potential schedule and budget risks -Reviewing and editing technical documentation when requested by WAN lead engineer and other team SME's -Reviewing contract documents for the provision of telecommunications services and materials SKILLS: -8+ YEARS Project Management -PMP -Experience building and/or working in MPLS network environments is required -Demonstrated experience on large-scale Telco/Network installation/implementation projects -Telecommunications Operations Management experience -Strong fundamental knowledge and experience in network infrastructure including areas such as routing, switching, MPLS, VPNs and general network security -Excellent documentation skills (Word, Excel, MS Project) If you feel that you meet the qualifications listed above, please apply directly.
