Tasks will include test execution, setup, inventory management, and tracking for the team. OVERVIEW: Prioritization of tasks and requests will be provided by team. Minimal training on the job for defect management, driver download and debug will be provided. Contacts for getting systems, software and firmware will be provided. Based on this knowledge, the Tech is expected to acquire the necessary systems, build the software image for each system, test them for correctness per documented test plan and then ship to external organizations and track in internal inventory. The Tech is also expected to participate in standard testing of competitor graphics cards, publish the test results and file and track any defects in the defect management system. REQUIREMENTS: 6-10 years' experience with Flashing BIOS and formatting hard drives Experience setting up operating systems such as Windows 7 / 8 on systems from scratch Ability to download drivers and install drivers and other software on systems 2-4 years' experience for a good working knowledge of enterprise networking Must have PC fundamentals knowledge and debug experience Graphics hardware and software debug a plus Software development and debug skills Preferred starting date: July 15, 2012 Estimated length of assignment: 12-18 months Number of positions: 1 Hours per week: 40 hours % of travel required: 0 Telecommuting: No Please include a daytime phone number where you can best be reached with your resume.
