Responsibilities include but not limited to: Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the facility by performing the following duties Route and stage material, supplies, and equipment using well-defined procedures Receive and ship goods checking against documentation for correct count and identification Pull and fill orders Stock material into specified locations Collect data for computer input Perform cycle counts; pull items, fill orders, and issue material, supplies, or subassemblies from stock Physically move goods to production work stations; pack and prepare goods for shipments Operate material handling equipment such as manual pallet jack and hand truck Learn labeling, packaging, stacking, and strapping techniques Identify damaged or misdirected goods or shortages and notifies lead/supervisor of the problem. Basic computer skills and experience operating a manual pallet jack.
