Senior Flex engineer and UI Lead Education: BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or equivalent field Experience: 7+ years of Internet and Java development in large scale applications with 5+ years in a Flex UI development role Extensive experience in full SDLC using Flex and Action Script with communication with backend J2EE services. Should be proficient in Flex, Flash with ActionScript/ MXML Expertise in application development and design using Adobe tools, Adobe Flash, Flex 3.0 and above, Adobe Flash Builder, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, Web Service Technologies including RPC services (HTTP, WEB application (SOAP), Remote Objects). Solid experience with creation of different types of components, custom components, custom events, CSS files, Advanced Datagrid, item renderer, item editor and XML files. Minimum of 5-6 years in developing Web/Enterprise applications using JAVA, J2EE (EJB, STRUTS, JSP, JDBC, JAVA MAIL). Strong Java programming skills. Experienced in programming SOAP/WEB SERVICES in J2EE. Experience with Web/Application Servers such as Apache HTTP, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic Strong experience in working with Databases like Oracle, MySQL Server Expertise in Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Application Framework and Design Patterns (MVC, Singleton, Factory, DAO, etc). Experience in Preparing High level technical design document. Experience in Customer Relationships and Client interactions. Foundation in computer science or engineering, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design Good interpersonal skills and team participation is a must Must have the ability to disseminate knowledge to younger engineers and other personnel. Proven track record of clear and concise technical design and deployment documentation.
