OVERVIEW: Setting up, troubleshooting and supporting a Linux based Hadoop environment with a number of open source and purchased support packages Includes server admin responsibilities in a non-production lab environment Set up and evaluate Hadoop and related products for possible introduction into the engineering roadmap Set up and configure Hadoop server clusters, network configuration and support Overall Linux environment setup and support (CentOS and others) Linux environment setup and support Windows Server setup and support REQUIREMENTS: 3 - 5 years Linux system administration and setup - mid to senior level experience Hardware configuration Troubleshooting skills SAN configuration experience Network configuration experience Estimated length of assignment: 6 months Number of positions: 1 Hours per week: 40 % of travel required: 0 Telecommuting: No Please include a daytime phone number where you can best be reached with your resume.
