Job Description Director of Network Engineering Richmond, VA Position Responsibilities * Director responsible for Central Office as well as Outside Plant Engineering in VA region * Manages the capital and expense budget for the engineering team in VA * Works collaboratively across LOB with partner organizations to ensure critical due dates for build programs are met * Responsibilities associated with providing technical solutions to the engineering and field operations functions * May be responsible for external customer networks * Ensures that provisioning targets are met within region Qualifications * 8-10 years of multidisciplinary leadership experience * 8 -10 years experience in managing expense budgets * Extensive experience in contract negotiation and contract management * Proven leadership skills and business acumen * Position requires critical strategic thinking, strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills * BA or BS degree in Business Administration/ Business Management/Engineering; or equivalent work experience * Ability to present information to executive management * Ability to communicate at all levels of the business Industry: Information-technology
