This job undertakes a technical leadership (high level business analysis and application design) and coordination role on projects, and/or system maintenance activities. Responsible for analysis, design and implementation of large cross-functional information system solutions. Works in a team environment to support programs in production and systems development. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Uses multiple technologies and systems and manages projects across multiple technologies and systems. Leads (from a technical perspective) and coaches a small team of IT professionals. Effectively delegates and follows up on support work as required by assigning, coordinating and reviewing work of programming personnel. Successfully manage large, cross-enterprise projects by following the project management methodology. Designs and implements innovative technical solutions to solve complex business opportunies. Analyzes, defines and documents program requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls and outputs. Technical experience in Linux, .NET, Java, C, Shell Scripting and Informix Transportation/Freight Management experience a plus.
