Installing Linux/Windows on USB with encrypted partition - Linux Windows
There are 2 projects ,first one is demo project and second one is final product. So I need to install Ubuntu Linux on USB with HW encrypted key .At the momen we are w8ing on USB sticks from our new hw supplier. With the new supplier we have all the APIs available, support and documentation too..For that time I need someone who will help me with first project and than with second project First project : For do this we want to use a standard USB key with a fake login prompt. The init process are this: 1) boot from usb key 2) Password prompt that check the digited password 3) If password is correct load the OS from usb (without the use of encrypted partition) Constrain: The OS loaded must be Windows 7 or Windows XP. For the loader we can use grub, syslinux or other thing without problem. Second project : Very similar like second one but in this project we have to use encrypted partition and Ubuntu Linux installation on USB .when the system boot, syslinux or grup call initrd, then init call a binary file that request a password to user, after this, if the password is correct, mount the private partition, and load the os (we need to use squashfs)...we have binary files for unlocking partiton..have someone to help me with setup all of this. Desired Skills: Linux Windows Keywords: System Administration, Linux, Window
