In this position, you will test, calibrate, and repair electronic instruments, products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy. This equipment includes oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and digital volt meters, along with a variety of other test and measurement equipment. You will provide concise documentation of all calibration accomplished. You will work on service assignments with clearly defined objectives. You will perform routine tasks using prescribed procedures. You will solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience, with typically 5 to 8 years practical experience. Experience in the electronic instrumentation repair/calibration industry is required. Demonstrated ability to master new and continuously changing technologies with minimal training. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members, customers and management. 1-2 years direct experience in calibration, diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair to the assembly/component level of test and measurement equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Voltmeters, Power Supplies, Signal Sources, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Optical Spectrum Analyzers, Light wave Signal Analyzers and LCR Meters. Strong abilities in the use of technical manuals and schematics. Computer skills. Knowledge of Total Quality Methodologies.
