The ASP.NET developer will be working on a number of web based projects which must be developed and delivered in a way maintainable for future development. These projects vary from public facing web sites which access a bespoke system which enables back up of media files. The successful ASP.NET MVC developer will possess: • ASP.NET 4 • C# with design patterns • SQL Server 2005/2008 and database design • Javascript & CSS • Web Standards • Experience of developing within Prince2 environment Desirable skills include: • Ajax • Web Services or WCF • MVC 2 or 3 and Razor • Ecommerce background The successful ASP.NET MVC developer must be proactive in seeking requirements from users and be able to work independently.
