Position Overview: Lead and provide direction to a team that is responsible for designing and implementing IT initiatives aligned with the company strategy. Oversee the business requirements gathering, testing, and information technology initiatives based upon the user-defined business requirements. Be a liaison between the business departments and the information technology department. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of projects (From start to finish the implementation of projects) Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Have the ability to provide structure to the projects they work on. Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other depts. involved in the projects. Prepare reports for management regarding status of projects. Have to be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Perform a variety of tasks and leads and direct the work of others on the teams. Qualifications: BSc in Electrical/Computer/Chemical Engineering; Computer Science; or a related Technical Diploma. PMP required. Minimum 8+ years' experience as a project manager, successfully leading full life cycle business process and/or information technology projects, on time, on budget and to the client's satisfaction. A demonstrated ability to manage stake holder relationships at all levels. A solid understanding of practical issues in process control systems. A balance of business experience and people management skills with strong technology knowledge. A demonstrated ability to develop project proposals, comprehensive project budgets and plans and to contribute extensively through the entire engagement life cycle Applied experience with Project Management principles, practices and methodologies eg RUP, EUP, Agile, PMI, CMM etc.
