SUMMARY OF POSITION: We are seeking responsible, talented, reliable and driven sales specialists who will be responsible for driving opportunities, supporting customers and closing sales, while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position works with a variety of decision makers in a school, library, university, distribution and or healthcare environment. OPEN POSITIONS: Book and AV Sales Specialist (Inside Sales/Home Office) Book and AV Sales Specialist, Federal and Military Accounts (Inside Sales/Home Office) Book and AV Sales Specialist, Bilingual Spanish (Inside Sales/Home Office) School Supply Sales Specialist (Inside Sales/Home Office) School Supply Sales Specialist, Bilingual Spanish (Inside Sales/Home Office) Library Automation Sales Specialist, Bilingual Spanish (Inside Sales/Home Office) Furniture Sales Specialist (Inside Sales/Home Office) Book and AV Sales Specialist, Federal and Military Accounts (Inside Sales/Home Office) Product Sales Specialist Curriculum Product, Writing (Both Field Sales for US Domestic Territories and Inside Sales/Home Office for International Territories) Curriculum Product, Social Emotional Program (Both Field Sales for US Domestic Territories and Inside Sales/Home Office for International Territories) Social Media Sales, Schools (Inside Sales/Home Office for International Territories) Social Media Sales, Advertising (Inside Sales/Home Office for International Territories) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Inside Sales/Home Office sales positions will be responsible for both scheduled and cold call phone calls with a minimum number of outbound phone calls and sales quota. While our Field Sales positions are required to live within their territory, responsible for scheduling face-to-face meetings and presentations with decision makers, and achieving a minimum number of site visits and achieving a sales quota. All positions are responsible for the following: Ability to work independently from home in a quiet and safe location. Ability to communicate with customers via phone, email, Skype, etc. Positive voice and passion to help customers. Self-starter who can work hours specific to sales territory. A sales hunter who can probe to uncover new opportunities, support with solutions and successfully close sales opportunity Ability to forecast personal sales after 2 quarters. Above average written and verbal communications Challenge oriented and creative Foreign language skills are recommended, but not required unless specified Team player who can contribute to overall sales goal and also forward leads to specific sales representatives for follow-up. Communicate with sales team and leadership through company CRM. Attend scheduled company and or team meetings. JOB REQUIREMENTS: At least 2 years sales or teaching experience Or Pursuing or obtained college degree in teaching-related field (Open to undergrad and graduate students) Ability to lift 50 lbs. Computer, MAC or PC Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point Reliable internet access Dependable, prompt, and ability to be flexible Have a secure and quiet place to work For Field Sales positions, private or access to reliable transportation TOOLS PROVIDED: For Inside Sales positions, we will provide a phone number and calling plan specific to sales territory. Product samples and catalogs will also be provided. HIRING AND REPORTING MANAGER: Vice President of Sales HOURS: Sales representatives set their own hours depending on the main working hours of their region or responsibilities. TRAVEL: Some overnight and international or domestic travel may be required, but if so, would be reimbursed. HIRING DETAILS: We will be hiring sales representatives with a start date of July 30, 2012. JOB STATUS: This position is a 1099 Independent position, in which taxes and social security are not paid by the company, but rather from the individual.
