Hello, I have a project that I am looking to get a bids on to determine if it fits within my budget to get built at this time. Design and Development The following design templates will be created for the site with a mockup revision process for each. • Main page • General subpage (About, Terms, etc.) . • Athlete Registration • College Subscription • College Profile View and Edit • Athlete Profile View and Edit • High School Profile Page • Search Results (college and athlete results will follow the same layout) • Message Inbox • Athlete Approval Page Subscription Fees Site admin can set up a login for a college program that allows them 5 days of free access to the site to see athlete profiles but not last name, school or a link to email. Following the trial period, the college contact will receive an email inviting them to subscribe for a monthly fee (expected to start at $9.99/month). When a college registers they will be emailed their secure login information and have the option to change their password on the site. A password reminder process will also be included. Users will automatically be billed monthly. Note: ___ will need an online merchant account and payment gateway to accept the payment. College Program Profile Each college that subscribes will have a profile page they can edit. Site admin will also have access to edit the College Program page. The information includes: • College Name • Division • Program Name (Basketball) • Program/Player Needs (Specific info to choose from for each sport. The launch will only include basketball so position and height will be the two fields initially.) • Annual Tuition • Location (City and State) • Short Bio High School Profile ___ admin will be able to set up high schools with a page and assign the coach for each school/sport. The following information will be available for each high school: • School Name • Sport • City • State • Sport 1: Coach Name • Sport 1: Coach email address (for verification) • Sport 1: Coach Phone number • Sport 2: Coach Name • etc. • Links to other sport sites with athletes from the school When an athlete`s profile is approved, the athlete will be added to their high school's profile page under the appropriate sport. Athlete Registration Athletes will be emailed (outside of the website) an invitation to register on the site. Registration will require the following fields and is free to the athlete: • First Name • Last Name • School • Email Address • Image • Bio • Age • Height • Position • Weight • 40 yard dash time • School (If school is not listed then ___ will manually contact the athlete/school to determine the coach needed for approval) • Sport Athletes can also apply directly on the site. If the school information for the athlete is on the site, the coach listed for the school will be notified. If the school is not listed, the site admin (___ staff) will be notified of the registration so they can manually contact the athlete/school to determine the coach needed for approval. Registration Approval Once the athlete registration is submitted, an email will automatically be sent to their referring coach to verify that the information entered is accurate. The coach will have a link to view the athlete information on the site and click a box to allow the athlete information to be accepted and available on the website and then rate the level of the player (Division 1, Division 2, etc.). If the coach does not approve the athlete, the athlete will receive an email announcing that they have not been selected to appear on the site at this time. Email Notifications Email processes will be set up to notify of the following events: • Athlete is notified when their registration is submitted • Athlete is notified when coach verifies or denies submission • Coach is notified when an athlete needs to be verified • Site admin is notified of a new athlete submission Athlete Profile Once the athlete is registered and approved, their profile on the site will show the following information: • First Name • Last Name • School • Button/Link to send email • Image • Short Bio • Age • Grade • Height • Position • Two most recent games dates • Detailed stats most recent two games (the athlete will input their own stats - see below) • Average stats for all games entered • Date and location for the next five upcoming games (auto-populated from the calendar input by site admin) High School Calendar Site admin can enter the school sport calendar including: • Home team • Away team • Date • Location • Time • School • Sport Each athlete listed for that school/sport will have the dates appear on their profile. Admin can also upload a .csv file in the appropriate format to enter new dates. Edits to existing dates will be done one by one in the admin. Stats Following each game, the athlete can login to their profile and input their stats for any previous game within the high school calendar. Stats for basketball will include the following: • Points • Rebounds • Assists • Steals When the stats are submitted, they will appear on the site immediately. The athlete`s coach will be emailed a link to verify the stats. Once verified, the stats will appear in the athlete`s profile. Once a week, an email will be sent to all high school coaches with athlete stats that need to be verified. If the stats are not verified within two weeks, they will be moved into pending and not shown on the site until they are approved. Stats will be permanently removed if the coach indicates they are not verified. Athlete Search Paid college subscribers can search athlete profiles. Search will be by city, state, height, position, grade and playing level (division). College Search Logged in athletes can search to find colleges with needs by these fields: city, state, height, position, playing level (Division II, Division III, NAIA and Junior Colleges). Messages During the available NCAA contacting window (see Disable Messaging details below), colleges can click a link on the athlete profile page to contact the athlete. Each athlete and college will have a private message inbox on the site. When they receive a message, an email will be sent to their email address in the system letting them know that they have a message in their inbox. The email will have the message but in order to respond, they will need to login to the site and respond from their inbox. Please note, the athlete and college cannot reply in their personal email client (Outlook, Gmail, etc.). They must log into the ___ site, and go to their inbox to reply or delete the message there. All contact information (i.e. email address of athlete/college) will remain anonymous. Notification emails will use a From: address of something like do-not-reply@_______.com. Athlete/College names always get shown on the message "From Simpson College". All email correspondence from the site will be captured on the site and held in the database in case future investigation of contact is needed. Disable Messaging All messaging functionality will be managed according to the NCAA Recruiting Calendar for the athlete`s sport. For example, when it is not a contact period for basketball, messaging from coaches to athletes needs to be disabled. Site admin will have the ability to enter the disable dates. Content Management System and Admin Functionality An easy, yet comprehensive website administrative tool will allow you to update content pages on your new website. Site admin will have the ability to populate general subpages of the site with text, images, links, etc. (pages such as About, Terms, Privacy Policy, etc.). The site admin will have access to the following items to view and/or edit: • College Profiles • Athlete Profiles • High School Profiles • Ability to verify athletes • Ability to verify stats • Athlete and College search • Ability to set dates for disabling messaging • Manage high school calendars Contact Form A standard form will be on the site where visitors can enter name, organization, address, phone, email, comments into a form. The information will be emailed to the appropriate ___ representative to respond. Google Analytics Google Analytics tracking code will be implemented to allow tracking of site activity. Phase II (not to be included in bid pricing) This is a starting list of functionality that has been mentioned for Phase II. Only Phase I functionality is included in this scope of work. Reduced Pricing for Multiple College Programs - The monthly price needs to be flexible depending on how many programs the college registers. For example, there will be a certain amount off if both the basketball and football program for the same college sign up. The registration process will need to be modified to determine the updated payment and apply the new price to any existing registered programs.
