Skills needed: SAP, ABAP, ECC 6.0, ECC 5.0, SAP HCM, SRM 4.0, SRM 7.0, shared service centre, ABAP Web Dynpro development My Swansea based client is looking for a SAP ABAP (web dynpro) Developer/ SAP ABAP Developer to work on a 6 month contract. Primary responsibilities for the SAP ABAP (web dynpro) Developer/ SAP ABAP Developer will be to provide SAP ERP, CRM, SRM and Portal Application support in the area of ABAP and ABAP Web Dynpro development for the Shared Services Centre. This SAP ABAP (web dynpro) Developer/ SAP ABAP Developer role will be to: *Provide SAP Application Configuration Development responsibilities for the upgrade *Provide continuous improvement solutions in relation to the upgrade. *Provide advice and recommendations in relation to the upgrade. *Provide application support function within ICT Application Management *Provide testing support function within ICT Application Management *Provide guidance and support to the process owners in the role of Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) associated with the upgrade Functional Management *To provide support for queries in the SAP area of ABAP by: oDocument and deliver configuration changes in line with the Upgrade Project. oMaintenance of up to date call, problem and defect records in the appropriate service management system oCommunication of problem status or resolution to the respective Team Lead or Project Manager oRespond to change requests/GAPS, this includes carrying out initial impact assessment, making configuration changes and co-ordination of testing. oSupporting bespoke configuration developments oCarry out detailed design within functional areas to ensure that the design follows the functional area design principles and will not negatively impact existing configuration. oEnsure documentation is maintained in the appropriate repository. *Prototype solutions in the sandbox as part of the Upgrade Project.
