Hi, I'm looking for a good animator to make me a 2-3 seconds long animation that will be included in the loading section of a flash game. I have attached a file (monkey-splash.png) with the splash screen as I'm imagining it (with animation guidelines too) + 2 pictures for the character that will be animated (scan 0001 and 0002.jpg). Basically, I would need you to work just on the animation (loader isn't that important or problematic and can be done by someone else). What I want in the animation: after the loader is 100%, a play button appears and the animation starts. From a semi cloudy sky, a monkey is falling (shaking hands and feet, tail is moving in the wind, the monkey screams and looks very scared). The focus is on the monkey, but I want somehow to leave the impression that it is falling with great speed so the clouds should shrink and the monkey should get bigger and bigger until it crashes the screen. On impact (scan0002.jpg), the monkey shakes and cracks the screen (some little glass cracks spread on the entire screen and leave the impression that the monkey has destroyed the player's display) + some "arh" sounds for the monkey as it was hurt. The animation should be just 2-3 (maximum) sec long and at the end, I would need to display on the broken glass the Dabidoo.com logo + the text "Monkeying for games" (that shouldn't be hard though :P). The animation shouldn't be bloody or too violent, because the games are for small children. I want something like "Tom and Jerry" brutality, not "Saw" massacre :D . All I have is the vectorized dabidoo.com logo + those 2 sketches of the monkey done by a friend of mine (she doesn't have any computer skills, so the monkey isn't vectorized or something, but at least the animator will have a starting point for the monkey...i want it to look just like that one :) ). The animator should be able to put the sound in the animation too. I also need the animation not very big in Kb because it will be a online game slash screen, after all. I will need to see your portfolio before assigning the project. Payment (by escrow) will be done 50% after some animatics will be presented and the rest after the entire animation will be delivered (.fla and .swf files).
