CRM and Database Manager
My client, one of the UK`s leading providers of distance learning professional qualifications, is looking for a CRM and Database Manager to join the team. In this newly created position within the marketing team the successful candidate will be responsible for developing a world-class CRM programme based on robust analysis and segmentation. The role will involve working closely with the acquisition team and sales organisation to develop a prospect conversion pipeline and full customer lifecycle. One of the main responsibilities of the role will be able to create, develop and implement digital / CRM programmes including emails, social communications and landing pages to maximise prospect and customer engagement, satisfaction, tenure and revenue. The position will also be the leader of customer insight for the business, developing segmentation models to improve relevance and direct the right level of investment to the right customers. The role requires a proven practitioner with a passion for marketing, a head for analysis, and proven experience in lead generation / nurturing campaigns including design and implementation. Key Duties and Responsibilities - Formulate and implement company-wide CRM strategy to inform and direct all customer investments. - Deliver direct response digital campaigns across email, social and website landing pages to achieve sales and revenue targets. - Work closely with in-house creatives to develop high performing customer journeys - Own end-to-end conversion and retention programmes - Work with marketing and other departments to plan and implement a comprehensive calendar for prospects and existing customers. - Develop customer segmentation and personalisation strategy that drives creative approach and investment per customer. - Manage external CRM platform and data providers - Define requirements for website and supporting systems to integrate and measure CRM/social activity. - Deliver daily / weekly / monthly reporting and insights based on CRM database - Innovate by launching new initiatives that leverage prospect and customer insight Personal Specification Experience - First hand experience of the development and implementation of a successful eCRM strategy with back-end system knowledge. - Proven track record in delivering complex email marketing campaigns. - Experience working with email marketing providers and CRM systems. - Experience of developing customer segmentation and working with customer databases to establish lifetime value and other insights. - Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Analytics or similar platforms. - BSc / BA degree is desirable Attributes & Skills - Ability to deliver results to targets - Ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems - Analytical, with the ability to recommend courses of action based on analysis - Excellent project management and organisation skills. - Commercially aware, deadline driven and results orientated.
