2G/ 3G RF Planning & Optimization Expert Tangent are looking for a 2G/ 3G RF Planning & Optimization Expert for a 1 month contract based in Lebanon Job Description Perform RF design checks and audits including Frequency plan, scrambling codes, link budget settings and other related RF design inputs and parameters. Review the link budget for the sites and optimize the 2G and 3G cells with high path imbalances Perform RF coverage audits and identify coverage holes and report cause and recommendations. Carry out audit and varifiections techniques (antenna selection for optimal horizontal/vertical performance, mechanical/electrical tilting, appropriate transmit power setting, antenna clearance, neighbour list analysis, etc.) for optimal site/cluster performance. Good understanding of antenna theory antenna performance, and engineering tools Understand GSM NSN counters/statistics for identifying problems in the network and possible solutions Monitoring 2GKPIs of Clusters and recommend parametric/redesign changes for improvement.
