Our client, a leading member of the Public Sector is looking for a Network Implementation Engineer for a 6 month contract role based in Telford. The role will involve driving the implementation element of a project lifecycle and leading these delivery activities to meet often aggressive, challenging timescales. A proven track record of undertaking implementation activities within a data centre environment is an essential requirement for this position. The role requires Cisco Certifications, CCNA, CCNP. Cisco routing and switching skills and knowledge. A good working knowledge of firewalls, particularly Nokia VSX. Familiarity with large scale networks and complex datacentre network environments. Should have a good working knowledge of the F5 BigIP 10.0.* version and above, product family, (both LTM and ASM) and an understanding of Portal based infrastructure and support. LAN & WAN. Routing Protocols eg BGP and OSPF. Essential business skills include an excellence in developing customer relationships. Attention to detail. Adherence to change management processes.
