SUMMARY The CNC Machinist is responsible for producing optical components, using ultra precision equipment like diamond milling or turning machines as well as state of the art test equipment. Principle Duties & Responsibilities Set up and operate specified machinery, create and troubleshoot CNC programs Work closely with internal development group and vendors to qualify new products and processes. Support production planners to set up new products. Perform quality control of produced parts utilizing interferometric and contact measuring equipment, identify and resolve quality issues.
