Evaluate a project and decide within set guidelines how to proceed with quoting the project. Prepare files for Auto Cad Lab Design work which include Auto Cad drawings. Prepare price quotes for the customer that sometimes include "Specials" or non stocked items as well as the stocked product. Answer all calls from customers (internal and external) inquiring on product technical data, price quotes and availability. Prices are sometimes quoted over the phone, while other times the project needs to be scheduled as they are more detailed. Prepare and compile final presentation packages for delivery within (24) hours of the customer's request. Reconcile quotes to match purchase orders by way of add/delete sheets and changing quotes. Coordinate entire quote package including setting due dates for the Auto Cad work, reviewing quote requests, and interpreting customer requirements (both internal and external). Requirements: Basic AutoCad experience required. Good organization skills Great customer service skills. Great communication skills. Space planning/drafting experience required. Understanding and exposure to both bid and estimating process. Good decision making skills. Able to work independently as well as be a team player. Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access software package.
