Develop and implement quality assurance standards, processes, and procedures based upon the SDLC Methodology. Design, implement, execute and debug information technology test cases and scripts. Evaluate production readiness of project delivery by validating and documenting the completion of testing and development. Review requirements documents, system concept documents, and functional and technical design documents. Work with the development management team and project managers on resource and schedule issues. Customize, communicate, and enforce QA Best Practices across all SDLC phases. Coordinate and manage testing efforts between 3rd party vendors, internal IT Teams and Business Units. Hold walk-throughs for Test Plans and Test Scripts with the IT Team, 3rd party vendors, and business partners. Communicate testing expectations to project managers and project team members. Maintain and monitor defect tracking tool (Tracker), overseeing identification and problem / defect resolution. Create a Test Summary at the end of the project and present to the project team. The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Working knowledge of the Web technologies (UNIX and Windows) Experience within a 3-tier architecture environment is required A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required Prior QA experience for the Business Area to be tested, primarily Healthcare related is necessary Strong technical skills including SQL Query and the use of any specific toolset applicable for the project Prior experience leading a QA Team on a strategic project Strong project management skills to effectively manage QA resources and timeline Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to capture key information from written text and summarize without losing content Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve problems as well as the ability to effectively apply a broad range of professional concepts, practices, and methods in very complex and diverse circumstances Comprehensive knowledge of software testing techniques and methodologies Strong working knowledge of Quality Center
